July is often a slower month for cinema, though it also brings heavy hitters, with both The Odyssey and Spider-Man: New Day making up for the fact that theaters are releasing fewer movies. Streaming is also seeing a slight bit of a lull in newer original movies for the month, but in their own way, they are making up for it with one of the best additions of classics across the biggest streaming platforms: Hulu dives into horror with Evil Dead, and Prime Video brings one of the best Western Trilogies of all time to streaming, to name but a few.
