One of the last great living lions of cinema, Sir Ridley Scott, has always been among my favorite filmmakers. The sheer diversity exhibited in such all-time classics as Alien, Blade Runner, Thelma & Louise, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, American Gangster, and many more has made me return to his work time and again, including a long list of executive producer TV credits dating back to The Hunger in 1997. Almost thirty years later, one of Scott's best TV productions remains criminally overlooked.
