Star Wars hasn't been put off by the failure of The Mandalorian & Grogu, the franchise's first feature-length release since 2019's Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker. Rather than returning focus to its healthy library of Disney+ TV shows, the space opera has decided to commit even harder to its big-screen future. Although Star Wars: Starfighter is still on the way next year, as well as New Jedi Order, which is still reportedly happening, Dave Filoni and company want more cinematic projects set in a galaxy far, far away. As such, the currently untitled Star Wars movie, which is heavily rumored to serve as Episode X in the Skywalker Saga, sets up the return of a sea of familiar names and faces.
