Cult-Classic '70s Sci-Fi Movie Getting All-New Release

In the earliest days of cinema, audiences were so intrigued with the mere concept of moving pictures that virtually any movie, no matter how outlandish the premise, would draw a crowd. In the '30s, theaters would entice viewers to check out A-list programming by offering two movies for the price of one, though these movies billed second in the lineup had a much lower quality, from the script to the acting to the production design. This helped birth the idea of the B movie, which are schlockier and campier experiences than their predecessors.
