Steven Spielberg is one of the greatest directors of all time, having given the world classics across a variety of genres. Still, whether he's dabbling in the action-packed exploits of Indiana Jones or diving into the historic life of Lincoln, Spielberg's expert direction gives each story standout moments. With this list, I wanted to look at Spielberg's best action-thriller set pieces. While that rules out movies like The Post, it offers an eclectic selection of sci-fi, adventure, and even war movies. That means that, as great as his one-shot sequence in West Side Story is, it won't make the list. Still, as a massive Spielberg fan, I can recognize where his vision got the best of him, meaning nobody has to worry about the list including any nuked fridges.
