DC Comics has had a long presence on the small screen. While the company struggles to make a strong presence in cinema with its lineup of characters (aside from Batman), it does pretty well on television. Over the years, DC characters have been on TV in animated ventures or live-screen adaptations. These shows often feature unique storylines that take inspiration from the comics without adapting classic storylines from the source material.
