Sergio Leone is widely regarded as one of the greatest Western movie directors, but no matter how good you are, some efforts will go unnoticed. Such was the case for the pioneer of the spaghetti Western genre at one stage of his career. After wowing the world with his contrasting close-up shots and lengthy long shots in the Dollars Trilogy, Leone made another movie that never generated much buzz.
