An emotional Instagram post confirmed that music and movie icon Dolly Parton has passed away at age80. Parton's nephew, Bryan Seaver (who also worked for decades as her head of security), confirmed her passing in a lengthy message on behalf of their family to honor her life and achievements. This comes about a year and a half after Parton's longtime husband, Carl Dean, died in Mar. 2025 at the age of 82. Seaver's full video can be seen below:
