When it comes to disturbing literature, I have always been the contradictory sort from a young age; being told 'don't read this' made me want to do it even more. While I shucked that bad habit in my adult years, I consider myself among the many who can take challenging content and find value in its work in touching on the darker aspects of humanity and using it as a positive reflection on the great things we do have. Which leads me to wanting to share some of the most disturbing books ever made.
