James Gunn and Peter Safran's DC Studios productions are going along smoothly. Besides Superman's presence at CinemaCon this week, which is in the editing process, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is currently filming, as it's also set to meet its June 2026 release date. Besides the feature films, the DC Universe is also steadily growing on the television front, with Peacemaker Season 2 in post-production and Creature Commandos Season 2 greenlit. However, one of the most exciting projects that just started filming is Lanterns, the HBO series centered around two Green Lanterns investigating a murder mystery on Earth. New set photos for the series have dropped, showing one of the stars in a precarious situation.
