Andor Season 2 is right around the corner, and its showrunner, Tony Gilroy, has already set his sights on what might happen beyond its conclusion. The Rogue One prequel series has offered Star Wars fans something new by presenting a story that is more realistic and much grittier than some of the franchise's fantastical sci-fi entries. It turns out that Gilroy didn't just want the story of Cassian Andor and the emerging Rebel Alliance to be grounded; he also intended to "break new ground" in the hopes that the galaxy would start to expand its horizons.
